Would be stupid of them if not
I don't think they are but I'd double check
The service is always prompt, good ambience, welcoming staff members. Will return here again when I am in town.
Solid breakfast. Overpriced
Beautiful spot! Right off the road! The window walls are gorgeous!! Zero sign telling you that the entrance is in the back! A bit awkward.
Meh. Mimosa was weak. French toast was weak.
Always special, always delicious. It's been there 20 odd years and never fails to please. Outdoor seating in the summer makes it even more special.
Good food nice staff
Great place but crowded
Great place to have breakfast on Sunday. A very unassuming building from outside but big, open, bright and airy in the inside. They also have great outdoor seating. Good selection of pancakes and omlettes. The staff was very friendly and nice. Tried the eggs Benedict, it was decent and good item to try. Also recommend the Blubes - Blueberry pancakes. The place has COVID19 restrictions in place. You will need a mask to enter this place.
Yummy breakfast: a place to recommend if you feel like eating out for breakfast in that area.
The outdoor seating was great but the service was slow and the food okay. I ordered a vegan version of the Tofu Scramble, and it was tasteless. If only a little seasoning was added, it would have been much better.
It's a nice and beautiful place
Nice place for lunch. Outside seating, quiet, fast service, decent food, usual steep Bay Area prices. Close to Marin General Hospital and adjacent to College of Marin.
Very solid breakfast and brunch options. I noticed everyone around me eating eggs benedict, so you might want to give them a try. I enjoyed my blackened burger and fries and really enjoyed the great service we received for such a busy Sunday morning.
Excellent. Terrific views, top notch food and reasonable prices
Enjoyed my brunch on Sunday. The portion was so large we could share. Don't be afraid of the wait - the food is worth it. The light and bright atmosphere is perfect for a sunny day.
Worth the wait in line.. Delicious and decent size breakfast!
Perfect cafe for a brunch any day of the week. The place is quite cool, a mix of a greenhouse with a barn feeling. The staff is very nice and helpful. The burger was delicious and so was the coffee.
The worst thing about the Half Day Cafe is that it's on the other coast from me. If this place was local, I'd be there every day. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, prices were reasonable, parking was easy. Seriously, what more could one possibly ask?A word on ingredients. It's relatively easy to tell if a restaurant is using frozen or canned ingredients, especially in something like an omelette. In the case of the Half Day Cafe, all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is delightful, an open, airy space with exposed redwood framing. Every thing is neat, clean and spotless. I liked the Half Day Cafe so much that it will influence where I choose to stay the next time I'm in the Bay Area.
Tofu scramble always good!!Outdoor patio always nice, shade!!
Fairly standard menu with a nice home made twist. Quality ingredients. Really nice space. Will definitely return.
Great ambience, great quality food. Italian scramble was fantastic. French toast with orange butter is amazing.
Good eggs Benedict, and the best butter milkBlueberry pancakes
Excellent service and great food.
They offer a nice variety of fresh food. I like dining here. The employees are always very nice, prices are reasonable and the spot is always neat.
Good breakfast and coffee. Nice outside seating. Gave it a four be sure they were a little slow in getting to tables.
Great turkey burgers
Love, love, love Half Day Cafe! Our server was wonderful! She was observant, quick and so very personable. The place was hoppin busy and she kept her calm and friendliness. Our food was hot and so very tasty. All of us were very sastisfied. My only request is for vegan butter and maybe Beyond brand sausage with my tofu scramble. One of my favorite patio dining places. Inside it is airy, open with great outdoor views of nature.
Try the orange butter with EVERYTHING. Delicious baked goods. Raspberry whole-wheat pancakes are filling-- you can order 1-3. Coffee was not out recently on a chilly, crowded visit, but it normally is. Long waits, but worth it.
Wow! What a cool spot for breakfast. We were visiting a friend in the area and they suggested this for breakfast. Arrived at 10 and were seated right away. Staff was super friendly and attentive. We ordered our breakfasts and went ahead and got the dough gods as a treat. They came out within 5 minutes! So yummy. I like that they are not sweet and your jam or honey makes them just right. Breakfast panini’s and scrambles were all awesome. So excited to have had a great breakfast. Will want to come here next time we visit.
One of my favorite places to breakfast when I have a morning to spare. Sitting outside on the patio is ideal and they're dog friendly. The food is good, and on the weekends they have sourdough balls that are great
Great coffee, great food, great service. If that’s not worth 5 stars I'm not sure what is!
I love this restaurant very much. there is a different feeling. The kitcen is very tasty. the service is dynamic and the stuff is friendly. The cost is fair. deeply recommend.
Outside eating was really nice.
Perfect little spot for brunch with friends. The atmosphere is wonderful and food was delicious. The only downside was parking was hard to find. But, I won’t let that stop me from visiting again.
This place never fails to impress. They serve excellent food for reasonable pricing, there is no waiting time even when they are busy.
Good space outdoors. Lots of distance btwn tables and servers.
Very, very meh. Mimosa was really just OJ. Food was really nothing to scratch at. I wouldn't go again for sure.
This place was amazing! We really enjoyed our meal ❤
Our visit was good and convenient location for our son (COM)Our server , Daniel, has good manners and a great smile.4,4
Highly recommend the homemade scones. Food is good and has typical breakfast options
I miss the old owners :( but still really amazing food! I 10/10 recommend!! Also recommend getting the doughgods
Best place ever for breakfast.
Good breakfast menu.
One of my favorite breakfast spots in marin. Great food and service.
Great food and atmosphere!
The perfect place to eat in marin county
I call this excellent restaurant once a month since I like the special air that is characterizes this restaurant. The personel is extremely cordial and well trained. The service is deeply efficient. Most important, the food you get is outstanding. I visited often and I was always pleased. The price is reasobable. I recommend this place to all my friends.
Kentfield institution popular with locals. Open for breakfast and lunch 7 days. Varied menu with pancakes, waffles, eggs, burgers, stir fries, soups, sandwiches, fruit, etc. Something for just about everyone. Food is good, prices reasonable, service is competent, attentive, and friendly. There is is often a ten minute or so wait for a table, particularly at weekend mealtimes. Indoor seating or outdoor patio. Recommended, give it a try.
I had the fiesta chicken salad, which was good as far as salad goes. Also ordered french toast and a breakfast panini salad sandwich; both were about average (to be fair, I took them to go). Place was really busy for a weekday and obviously a popular spot. I wouldn't be turned off if someone wanted to take me here, but probably wouldn't be excited about it. Give it a shot, other menu items very well could be better.
One of the best restaurants for dinner I've been so far, prices are (in average) cheap and you can enjoy a good family environment... I literally recommend it
